Abstract
|
|
|
The authors intended to study the incidence of rabies in Korea during th period of 1958-1969.
Our´ data on the subject. were collected from the source of Government statistical books including Statistical Year Books edited by. the Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry and Ministry of Health & Social Affairs of Republic of Korea.
The following summary could be obtained;
(1) The rate of rabies vaccination carried on the canine is ´proportional to the?inci-dence rate of rabies, and it´s statistical correlation coefficient is high (r=-0.70, p(2) The attack -rate of rabies between human being and canine -in $area showed´ a highly correlation.
(3) Since the incidence rate of rabies is geographically distributed along the mountain range, the current anti-campaign will have to be rectified and broaden the bounds of animals for a counter-rabies campaign in the future.
(4) The seasonable incidence rate of rabies is the order of spring, summer, winter and autumn.
